Nicely done! I've been trying to find ways to use GTK# more (want to do more with Mono), but the install was a pain. This is just sweet! Bravo!
Posted by Chris at August 10, 2004 08:40 AMThanks,
I downloaded it hoping it would work for Visual C# 2005 Express Edition Beta 1, but I did not seem to. I guess I'll keep asking how to use GTK# on the gotmono forums. I haven't figured out how to use it yet.
Posted by Philip D. at August 10, 2004 03:51 PMthis is just so awesome, I cant wait to try it out.
I am trying to get some answers to some basic questions, but cant seem to find any:
dunno if this is answered by/in the download but how does this installer relate to the combined mono/xsp/gtk# installer, ie is that a superset?
if I want to develop (and later deploy) gtk# apps for mono, will that combined installer help?
again, this looks awesome and I think this may really get alot of people trying out mono, gtk# and thus moving towards cross platform .NET based development.
