Comments: And now... The Actual Deployment

I wish I was going with you. I wish I could be there to be the guy that quietly watches over you, but that job has already been filled.

There's not much I can say, that I haven't already. But I certainly hope to see you again my friend. If I was ever less than what you needed in a friend or a leader, please forgive me. I know the pain you carry and wish I could help you with that load as well as your family's, but that job is alredy taken.

I wish many many things, but I won't worry. I know how laser-focused you are on the mission (as always). Be safe, share what you can, know that your life, has touched many, and your sacrifice has touched many more.

You've always had an ability to see beyond, and sacrificing like you have for the benefit of many, carries on the work started some 2,000 years ago. It's funny how following your own interests can end up demonstrating so much love for everyone else. Thanks for being such a inspiring friend.

As I walked with my family into the Enlisted Club, here at Misawa AB, Japan, for dinner last night...I looked to my left and saw a picture of you on the front page of the Stars and Stripes. "A Father's Duty." Whether these Airmen know it or not, they're in safer hands having you out there to lead and watch over them. Youre a great NCO for a reason, take care of our troopers and make sure you all come back safe!

God's blessings on you Paco, and on your family. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

May you dwell in the sheltered place of the Most High. May you find rest beneath the shadow of the Almighty.

May you find refuge under the all-covering wings, and may the faithfulness of the Great God be your shield and your protection.

Querido Paco, un hasta luego - aguardando tu regreso. nuestra oracion por ti:
All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham left his native land
and departed from his people
you kept him safe through all his journeys.

Be his constant companion and his strength in battle,

Guide him, O Lord, that he may return home in safety. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
